Research on Vehicle Control Strategy and Hardware in Loop for Pure Electric FSAE Vehicle

Abstract As the environment protection and energy shortage drawing more attention, development of new vehicle, especially electric vehicle has become an important tendency in industry. Affected by this trend, racing events been held Formula SAE (FSAE) China since 2013. To achieve testing control strategy before debugging, enhance develop-efficiency, reduce risk paper exploited a cost-effective, perfectly functional easily operational HIL test platform for unit. Firstly, designed reliable electrical system safety circuit according to rules, selected type drive motor high voltage battery pack. The software Cruise was used simulate check correctness. After then, unit (VCU) including bottom module algorithm built means rapid prototyping platform. Among this, dynamic algorithms as regeneration, yaw stability switching, acceleration slip regulation were came up with employed VCU aiming at characteristics car during contest. At last, economical applicable studied developed need testing. joint simulation Carsim Simulink algorithm. further verified through loading program VCU. open-loop basically logic conducted setting component parameters operating signal driver upper machine. closed-loop carried out model TI 28335 board.
